FAQs

What can I expect at my appointment?

At your initial appointment Georgie will start with a full and thorough facial assessment where she will discuss your goals of treatment, any concerns, medical history, and potential costs of treatment. Working as a team you will formulate a treatment plan for you that works to meet your skin health goals. She will take before photos and you will sign a consent to treatment, following which you will have a video call with our overseeing cosmetic specialist to prescribe treatment and give the go ahead. Georgie will then proceed with your agreed upon treatment plan, and you will be educated on aftercare that is involved.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

It is advised that prior to your appointment you wear as little makeup as possible. Makeup will be removed in the consultation however this makes the process much easier and can avoid complications. To reduce excessive bleeding or bruising please refrain from taking fish oil, ibuprofen or aspirin for one week prior to treatment, and avoid alcohol consumption on the day of the treatment (please, no alcohol whatsoever for 48hours after dermal fillers). Keep in mind that the face is an extremely vascular area so sometimes bruising can occur despite precautions taken. Arnica supplements can be started the day before the appointment to help decrease this likelihood.

What forms of payment do you accept?

You can pay via EFTPOS, Afterpay or with cash.

Where should I park?

There is 2 hour free parking available underneath Coles at the Peninsula Car Park, at 25 Wentworth Road in Manly.

What is the downtime?

Downtime is completely dependent upon the type of treatment performed and the individual patient. Please remember, the face is a highly vascular area and despite all precautions bruising can occur so we recommend booking treatments approximately two weeks from significant events you may have coming up, particularly for dermal fillers.
